Halcones Precious Metals is a publicly traded Canadian exploration company focused on gold, silver and copper exploration. Halcones’ main project is the Carachapampa Project which comprises twelve contiguous mining concessions (pedimentos) with a total area of 2,868 hectares. The irregularly shaped block of concessions extends for approximately 8 km in an East-West direction and approximately 7 km in a North-South direction.
Carachapampa is proximal to the Nueva Esperanza and La Coipa deposits which are important high sulfidation gold-silver deposits within the famous Maricunga Belt in Chile. Approximately 80% of the Project is un-drilled and under-explored.
